Kyle Somers practices in the fields of education and municipal law. He joined the DBYD team in August of 2009.
Kyle is a graduate of Syracuse University where he earned dual degrees from two of the university’s celebrated schools, earning a Master of Science degree in the field of Public Communications from the renown S.I. Newhouse School as well as a Juris Doctorate from the College of Law, where he was the Editor-in-Chief of the Syracuse Law Review and a magna cum laude graduate.
The law was not Kyle’s first career choice. After his graduation from North Penn High School, Kyle earned a B.A. degree in History Education from the University of Delaware where he received the College of Arts and Sciences’ Outstanding Student Teacher Award as well as the William B. Keene Memorial Scholarship for a student with exceptional promise as a future educator. Besides being a lawyer, Kyle is also a Pennsylvania-certified social studies teacher. This explains his interest in school law.
Managing Partner, Frank R. Bartle, Esq. has commented, “Kyle Somers has proven himself to be an exceptional young man in everything he has done in preparing for his career in law. We are delighted to have him as a member of our law firm. Our high expectations of him, I believe, will be exceeded by his performance.”
Results matter to Kyle Somers in everything he undertakes.
